This Privacy Policy explains how Red Roofed ("Red Roofed," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with RedRoofed.com and our property-data services. By using this website, you agree to this policy.

Red Roofed is a private, commercial data service. We are not affiliated with any government agency, insurance company, or county property appraiser. Roof scores are estimates derived from public records and documented storm history — not inspections or official determinations.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in two ways:

Public records. Our property database is built from publicly available records — primarily Florida Department of Revenue property tax rolls and county building-permit records (Florida Ch. 119 public records) and NOAA hurricane data. This includes property addresses, year built, construction type, and assessed values.
Information you provide. When you request a report, request an inspection, sign up, or contact us, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and the property address you ask about.

We do not collect Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, or — through this website — payment card numbers (payments are processed by our payment processor, not stored by us).

2. How We Use Your Information

To generate and deliver the roof reports you request
To connect homeowners who request a free inspection with a licensed roofing contractor
To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
To send service-related and, where permitted, informational communications
To improve the accuracy of our property data

We do not sell your personal contact information to unrelated third parties for their own marketing.

3. How Information Is Shared

We share information only as needed to provide the service:

Licensed contractors — if you request a free inspection, we share your contact details and property with a Red Roofed Verified Contractor so they can schedule it.
Service providers — payment processing, email delivery, hosting, and CRM tools that operate on our behalf.
Legal — where required by law or to protect our rights.

4. Email & SMS Communications

If you provide your phone number, you consent to be contacted by phone, email, or SMS regarding your inquiry. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of email at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message or our opt-out page, and opt out of SMS by replying STOP. Opting out will not affect any service you have requested.

5. Property Owner Data & Opt-Out

Our database includes property-level information drawn from public records. If you are a property owner and wish to have your property removed from the Red Roofed database, or to stop receiving communications from us, email info@redroofed.com or use our opt-out page. We honor removal requests promptly.

6. Cookies & Analytics

We use basic analytics to understand site traffic in aggregate. This data is anonymous and is not used to build advertising profiles. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

7. Data Retention & Security

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the service and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, though no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights

Request access to the personal information we hold about you
Request correction or deletion of your information
Request removal of your property from our database
Opt out of marketing emails and SMS at any time

9. Children

RedRoofed.com is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance.
